Sbrain111, that's interesting. Not sure if it has anything to do with Google+, but I do have a Google+ account so maybe that has something to do with it. On my Mac when composing a new Gmail message I have an 'insert photo' button. When I click that a popover window appears with a couple of options (like tabs) appear. The default is 'Photos' and shows all the images I have in Google Photos.
Count photos in Google Photos. However, I did eventually find the answer! Open an image and select Edit. Change color with Color Filters or make other changes with Basic Adjustments. Google Photos will display each image in turn for a few seconds before automatically shifting to the next. This wikiHow teaches you how to edit the date of a photo or video in Google Photos when you're on a computer. You can use any web browser, such as Safari, Firefox, or Chrome, to access Google Photos.
The next tab is 'Albums' which appear to be Google Photo albums, though it is some subset (perhaps albums that I've shared?). Then there are the regular options to upload or send a link. I would recommend you to download and install Picasa again. We are not sure that it can still be used for uploading to Google Photos after August 1, but you can use it locally for organising and editing, and probably also for emailing. See Like Rinus said, the photos on Google Photos do not harm, at least when you uploaded in 'High Quality'. If uploaded in 'Original' quality they use storage and that could cause problems when you use Gmail.
You can see here how much storage is used: Hover with the mouse over the circle to see the details. Man roger that. I have been thinking it was me! Not real IT savvy, and was talked into a iPAD for my jump to mobile hell. My Kids call me retard But the same frustration your having I am & is killing my business which needs to add photo to a Gmail but can't unless it is a URL or 3-4 steps etc. & then they cant see it.they just get URL unless set up for them to share the photo etc.

But Picasa 3.9 still will function for many years ahead, so mailing pictures via Picasa will still function like always. Unless you are using mailingsoftware to which Picasa can't communicate, like the Mail-app in Windows 8 or 10 or even Outlook Professional from Office or something on your Mac. But then you always have a workaround (already for years) that you can export your selected pictures from Picasa in 1600px size and add these file as attachments to a new mailmessage. This method always works unless you do something wrong. Hello can anyone help me??? I have a question. I just downloaded the (google photos app) to my iphone.
I was thinking. How do i make all my pictures private???? I tried to save up space in my iphone by downloading this app but then come to realize that google is a website that many have, what if i don't want anyone to see my pics i downloaded to my google photos. When i downloaded the app it told me it was going to download all my pic from my (photo library iphone ) to my google photos.
I went to setting and it doesn't give me the option to make any photos private this is ALARMING TO ME!!! Does the public see uR PHOTOS U DOWNLOADED TO GOOGLE PHOTOS??
HOW SCARY Benjamin Perlmutter 8/8/2016, 20:56 น. This latest Google Photo snafu is the worse of the worse. Can't tell you how pissed I am right now. They had something beautiful (Picasa), worked beautifully, and now this crap which no one can figure out. Having Picasa was like having my own photo lab with so many options. My biggest peive right now is the loss of every photo I've taken during 2016.
The photo files were switched from Picasa with the exception of all 2016. The files start with year 2015. I searched every nock and cranny to no avail. Just found out how to download photos from my camera to this site and figured maybe by some slim chance, my old 2016 files would show up with the photos I just downloaded. If there is some techie out there from Google who can help me, I'd certainly appreciate it. I'm hotter than an hornet right now. RinusA 20/9/2016, 22:56 น.
My 'problem' is that when I'm in Photos, select a pic, and click share - there is no way to continue this process with the Gmail New Message Compose dialog with all it's goodies of text formatting, addressing a group, cc/bcc, etc, etc. Yes, I know I can start in Gmail and grab the pix from Photos but I shouldn't have to abandon what I'm in the middle of to do it. I think that's the crux of the frustration others have expressed. Why force us to do a context switch out of Photos, into Gmail, back to Photos? Yes, opening the Compose dialog would be 'in Gmail' to an extent, but would not require 'switch to gmail, (you are now looking at your inbox), click compose, click the insert photo, select the pix (again! - because you already selected them and found out you could not email them the way you wanted!!), finish email, return to Photos. Top-shot: Open Photos-app Devicefolders via 3 short lines Camera Select the pictures wanted after choosing Select via the 3 dots.
Then choose the Share-symbol (lying-V with dots). Middle-shot: you will see many app to go on and even some contacts, but generally tip the Gmail-icon because many others icons are not suitable for mailing directly. Lower-shot: enter the letter of the person and select his adress from the list that should appear (your contacts at Gmail). Type some additional text to explain the picture and then send the mail. Ok, so I seem to have the same issue others have had. In gmail (web interface on a desktop browser) I can click 'insert photo' and I get 4 tabs, including all the photos in 'google photos' My wife has the same setup, gmail (web interface on a desktop browser) but only gets two tabs and can not access the photos in 'google photos' (she does use google photos) neither of use have used google plus. I have tried looking through all the settings, nothing I could find seems to do anything.
